Athens Transportation 2.2.2

The application provides comprehensive information about the lines and stops of all public transportation in Athens, Greece, including buses, trolleys, trams, subways, electric railways, and suburban railways. It incorporates the schedules and relevant announcements from OASA, the transport organization of Athens.

Users can easily select the desired line by entering its code or name or by choosing it from the list of municipalities it serves. The app also offers the functionality to display nearby stops and lines and allows users to access information about previous and upcoming departures based on the route schedule.

Furthermore, users can identify the nearest stop to their current location through GPS and compass integration in the device, with distance calculation and directional guidance provided (within a proximity of approximately 1.5km or 1 mile from the nearest stop).

The selected line's stops can be viewed in a list format or on Google Maps, necessitating an internet connection for map display. Real-time updates are available to indicate the current stop and the subsequent stop along the route.
